Beacon Chase is a dynamically configurable hunt to discover iBeacons.
By scanning a QRCode to a configuration URL, the Beacon Chase app will set up a hunt for a set of iBeacons. As each iBeacon is discovered, a message is displayed. These messages may also, if configured, direct the app to a web page.
Once all of the iBeacons have been discovered, a configured completion message will appear. In some cases, the user may be prompted to submit an email to verify completion of the Chase.
An example scenario is an Open House for an Elementary School. A QRCode with the URL for a Beacon Chase configuration would be placed at the entrance. Parents and Students would use the Beacon Chase app to scan the QRCode and configure the app for different locations within the school. iBeacons would be placed at each location and when Parents and Students visit this locations, messages appear.
Once all of the locations have been visited, the user will receive a completion message.
